Edit Menu

The Edit Menu provides tools for editing prims’ parenting, visibility and managing the undo/redo actions. The default options menu, which is accessible by clicking to the checkbox opposite the menu item.

Action	Shortcut	Purpose	Options
Parent	P	Parent the last selected object over the selection.	Preserve Transform: Whether the transformations of the Parent are shared with the depended prims.
Unparent	Shift+P	Unparent the selection.	Preserve Transform: Whether the transformations of the Parent are shared with the depended prims after Unparenting.
Group	Ctrl+G	Create an Xform and parent the selected objects to it.
Duplicate	Ctrl+D	Make a copy of the selected objects.	Mode defines the layer on which to place the copy: Edit Target; On Each Layer; Collapsed.
Set Visible	Shift+H	Set the selected objects visible.
Set Invisible	Ctrl+H	Set the selected objects invisible.
Delete	Del	The action depends on the currently used tool.
Redo	Ctrl+Y	Redo the last action.
Undo	Ctrl+Z	Undo the last action.

The Undo/Redo actions can be configured in the Preferences window:
